Third Wednesday of the month… how time flies. That means it’s circle time!!! Some of my fellow photographers and I are coming together every third Wednesday of the month to show how we find serenity in our lives.

I love shooting macro, close-ups and flowers. It is my therapy!!! I believe there is such a thing as macro therapy! When I get behind the lens and go exploring, I forget time and place. All worries I might have had disappears from my mind.

This particular day, I was out hunting beautiful light with my vintage lens mounted to my camera. I have a love for vintage lenses. I love the dreamy look, the bokeh and the flare they can produce. And that they are manual everything - just makes me slow down even more.

My daughter came and saw me crawling around - my behind in the air - to capture these small clovers in the field, and she said Mom, you look embarrassing! Embarrassing my 12 year old daughter in the process… well that is just a plus!

Oh and then this little guy stopped by and landed on my clover, how nice of him!

I love loosing sense of time and place… how about you? Do you love loosing sense of time an place? Do you have a special something that gets you to that serene state of mind?

Thank you for stopping by. Now please follow the link and look at the wonderful work of my dear friend Wendy May, NE Scotland Nature Photographer by visiting her website and have a look at what brigs her serenity. Leave her a little love, while you are there!
